Welcome to My Every Day Essentials!

See what I budget for

In my day to day life

We all love to feel fresh and put-together, but no one wants to break the bank doing it. These are my tried and true everyday essentials I always make room for in my routine (and my wallet). From shower staples to little self care must haves, here’s exactly what keeps me feeling my best, every single day.

What is my budget?

I normally allocate $45 per month to refill my hygiene and beauty products. Since none of my items run out at the same time, this helps me be able to rotate what products I buy while still being able to price it out in my budget. The $45 covers everything from dental, soaps, makeup, perfume and anything else I might need in my day to day that is NOT clothes.

Pro Tip: I love getting dressed up to go “Shopping” even if I am just going out to buy essentials as it helps quench the retail therapy urges and avoid spending money unnecessarily.

Pretty Doesn’t Have to Be Pricey

This over-consumption mindset took me a while to unlearn. You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars per product to take care of yourself and feel pretty. I used to scroll through social media and feel self-conscious seeing people change up their scents daily with endless body sprays and lotions. I thought it was normal to have multiples of everything, but it’s not! and it is totally not necessary. On Average, all of my beauty and hygiene products are under $10-$15 making it affordable to maintain and still save!

Pro Tip: Use up what you have before buying a new one. You’d be surprised how far your products actually go! Can you believe I’ve had the same body spray for almost 2 years?
