If you had told me in high-school that I would have the dream life of my Pinterest boards by 22 I would never have believed it.
During my time at university I started working on learning life hacks, money-saving strategies, professionalism and overall ways to improve my quality of life. Like many students, I often felt overwhelmed, broke, and stressed. There was never enough hours in the day to get everything done.
Now I’m graduated with a STEM degree, navigating apartment living, buying a home and a new job. All while learning how to continue to improve quality of life and save money!
Through plenty of trial and error, I’ve streamlined processes and built systems that make life easier.

Why I started this blog
I’m excited to help others create the life they want, just as I did.
I was desperate to get out of the rut of feeling overwhelmed everyday. Determined to create the life I wanted, I set out to find ways to live beautifully and professionally on a budget—without spending hours wasting time searching for solutions.
Needless to say, I had my work cut out for me.
Eventually, I discovered ways to save both time and money, which allowed me to focus more energy on what mattered. Overall helping me land my dream job in the tech industry right after college.

My Name is Melina
I was born in Connecticut, but homeschooled and moved around alot throughout my childhood. I spent most of my time in Florida and recently moved to the city in Northern Virginia Area.
I graduated from Florida Polytechnic University with a Computer Science degree with a focus in software engineering and recently started a career in consulting.
Besides the blog, I spend a lot of my free time crafting, gaming, reading, traveling and hanging out with friends.
